Project Description
The Smart Villages Company supplies the Smart Village buildings with a centralized air-conditioning and heating system provided through a central gas-fired HVAC plant built over several stages. The centralized heating and airconditioning system requires a plant for producing chilled and heated water in addition to a network for distributing such water to all buildings housed in the Smart Village and the Ministry of Communication Complex.
With a built-up area of 12,000m2, the cooling station produces hot/cold water & distributes it to the different buildings in Smart Village. The station is operated by BOO system. The station capacity is 24,000 cooling tons/hr which is accomplished in 4 stages:
1st: 8,000 cooling tons/ hr
2nd: 6,000 cooling tons/ hr
3rd: 6,000 cooling tons/ hr
4th: 4,000 cooling tons/ hr
