Madinat Zayed in Al-Dafra (Sectors 20 & 22), Abu Dhabi

Project Description

The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority aims to develop Madinat Zayed as a central hub within Al-Dhafra region. As part of a broader environmental, socio-economic, and cultural geographic system, Madinat Zayed occupies a strategic location that links it integrally to the wider Al-Dhafra area.

The development vision is for Madinat Zayed to serve as the functional heart of the region—where employees and students gather daily, and where essential services with a regional scope are concentrated. These include schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, sports complexes, and key retail facilities. The city is expected to provide the necessary infrastructure and services to support the wider needs of the Al Dhafra region.

This project consists of two Jumma mosques and five retail buildings, distributed across five land plots measuring 7,450 m2, 6,060 m2, 1,036 m2, 608 m2, and 1,145 m2.
