Duties & Requirements: 

  • Minimum 25 years’ experience.
  • Planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.
  • Managing and reviewing designs, aspects, technical specifications & design reports.
  • Ensuring the compliance with all project requirements.
  • Organizing and managing the work of design team leaders.
  • providing support to the design team.
  • Reviewing land-use and master plan including environmental impact assessment, hydrologic analysis, and geotechnical investigations.
  • Monitoring the progress of assigned projects.
  • Preparing infrastructure design and tender documents.
  • Managing and reviewing shop drawings, materials, specifications, documents of suppliers and subcontractors; reviewing drawings, technical specifications, and design reports
  • Managing all stages of design phase up to the preparation of contract documents, shop drawings, and technical specifications. In addition, monitoring and assisting with the financial aspects of projects to maintain or improve benefit-cost ratios.
  • Studying and analyzing scope change settlements, variation orders, claims, and cash flow projections.
  • Controlling project costs in relation to budgets.
  • preparing and supervising the preparation of the proposals to be submitted to prospective clients.
  • Assisting with the negotiations associated with contracts and with the preparation of contract documents.
  • Analyzing contractual obligations.
  • Establishing staff budgets, as well as the man-power/equipment resources necessary for the execution of each project; and managing all stages of pumping station facility’ projects.
