Wastewater Treatment Plant in Mbezi

Located in Mbezi area in the northern part of Dar el Salam; the project is confined by the Indian Ocean on the east, Kunduchi River on the north, Mbezi River on the south, and Juba ward on the west. The project area serves primarily commercial areas and low density residential properties.

The wastewater treatment plant is located in the north eastern part of Kinondoni district, with a capacity of 16,000 m³/day. The plant employs Anaerobic/Anoxic/Oxic (A2O) wastewater treatment technology.
