Project Description

Wastewater Package Treatment Plant Upgrade:

Capacity Increase: 1,600 to 3,200 m3/day.

Process:

  • Activated Sludge.
  • Aeration and secondary settlement tanks, biological treatment.
  • Tertiary treatment.

Components:

  • Two mechanical screens, duty / standby.
  • Underground Inlet pumping station: Two hopper impeller submersible pumps, duty/standby.
  • Elevated inlet screens.
  • Glass lined elevated tanks.
  • Aeration system, fine bubble diffuser.
  • Clarifiers, flat-bottomed settlement tanks.

Location:

Al Dhakhira village is on an inlet of the Persian Gulf, 60km away from Doha, Qatar.
