Six Medical Warehouses

Project Description

The project comprises six strategic warehouses; allocated for storing medications, and medical supplies & appliances. They are designated to serve medical and treatment institutions in Egypt. Distributed nationwide according to population density, the warehouses include the following:

  • A Central Warehouse in Greater Cairo
  • A Secondary Warehouse in Alexandria and West Delta (Alexandria)
  • A Secondary Warehouse in Delta (Mansoura)
  • A Secondary Warehouse in Suez Canal Region and Sinai (Ismailia)
  • Secondary Warehouses in Upper Egypt (Qena and Al-Menia)

The capacity of each warehouse varies according to its location. The warehouse with the largest storage capacity exists in Greater Cairo, with a capacity of 80,000 packs; followed by the secondary warehouses in Alexandria, Mansoura, Al-Menia, and Qena, with a capacity of 25,000 packs; and finally Ismailia warehouse, which is serving Suez Canal Region and Sinai with a capacity of 10,000 packs.
A fleet of heavy land transport vehicles and trucks with a capacity ranging from 1 to 20 tons connects these warehouses.
