Construction Management & Supervision
We act on behalf of the Client (Owner), to provide Construction Management & Supervision services that cover all the required duties during the construction phase till the end of handing over stage for all work package with all associated Civil / Structural, MEP & Finishing works. Construction Management & Supervision are among the most critical aspects of ECG’s role, encompassing the processes and activities that define quality policies, objectives, and responsibilities to ensure that each project satisfies the requirements for which it was undertaken.
Construction Management Services

Construction Start – Up
- Assemble project personnel and stakeholders.
- Secure equipment and facilities.
- Define objectives, scope, and project organization.

Communication (Documents) Management
- Establish communication channels and procedures.
- Maintain records, circulation, and archiving systems.

Technical coordination between the contractors
- Coordinate civil, finishing, and MEP works among contractors.
- Ensure compliance with approved schedules.

Schedule / Time Management
- Use PMIS tools (Primavera, MS Project).
- Review and update project schedules.
- Monitor milestones, deliverables, submittals, procurement, and close-out documents.
- Evaluate extension of time claims.

HSE, Health & Safety
- Review and approve contractors’ safety plans.
- Ensure safety measures are implemented and adhered to.

Quality Control / Assurance Management
- Develop and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP).
- Monitor submittals, mock-ups, compliance, testing, and inspections.
- Prepare monthly progress reports with photo evidence.

Contract Completion and Project Close out Project Close out and Post – Evaluations
- Advise client on handover arrangements.
- Participate in preliminary and final handovers.
- Review and approve as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and final payments.
- Prepare final project report and list of pending issues.

Contract Management / Administration
- Manage consultants, contractors, and suppliers’ contracts.
- Handle day-to-day correspondence per contract terms.
- Analyze and manage contract alterations.
- Evaluate claims and provide recommendations.
- Review insurance policies, guarantees, bonds, and warranties.
- Issue Taking-Over and Final Taking-Over Certificates.
Construction Supervision Services

As-Built Drawings & Close-Out
- Review and approve as-built drawings.
- Validate close-out documents, spare parts, warranties, and guarantees.

Defects Liabilities Activities
- Monitor and ensure rectification of defects.
- Inspect snag list activities.
- Recommend additional tests if needed.

Mobilization
- Conduct kick-off meetings with stakeholders.
- Assign qualified personnel and organization chart.
- Collect approved temporary facilities setup.

Final Inspection, Testing & Approval
- Conduct inspections at end of DLP.
- Verify completion of remaining works.
- Issue Final Taking-Over Certificate and Final Payment Certificate.

Handover & Commissioning
- Participate in preliminary and final handovers.
- Prepare punch lists and follow up on corrective actions.
- Review and approve O&M manuals, warranties, and as-built drawings.
- Identify systems for commissioning.
- Issue Taking-Over Certificate.

Construction Stage
- Monitor and record daily site activities.
- Review manpower and equipment reports.
- Hold weekly progress meetings.
- Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, material samples, and equipment.
- Inspect works for compliance with specifications.
- Maintain logs of submittals and approvals.
- Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) if required.
- Issue NCRs for non-conforming works.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
