Roads and Infrastructure in South of Al Meshaf -Package 01

Located 5 km west of Al-Wakrah, the project area of Al-Wukair straddles Al-Wukair Street. The QS049 project (3 contracts) serves a predominantly residential community spreading over an area of 2,300 ha; as a part of Zone 91 masterplan. It includes approximately 9,726 residential plots, 1,600 commercial plots, 4 schools, 3 reserved government plots, 21 mosques, 13 parks and 226 open space / green areas.

South of Al-Meshaf (Package 01) covers an area of 117 ha and encompasses a 6 km trunk main with diameters ranging from 2000 mm to 2400 mm along Al-Wukair Street.

The scope of works includes:

• Complete design of Foul Sewer Network for Zone-1 and Zone-2
• Complete design of Foul Water Tunnel with associated shafts
• Hydraulic model (INFO-works ICM)/design calculations
• Utility clash analysis
• Authority design review approvals (QDRS)
• Structural design of temporary/ permanent micro-tunneling shafts
• Geotechnical review for evaluation of sub-surface conditions and determination of design parameters
• Slope Stability Analyses
• Proposed Dewatering Lagoon
