Reconstruction and Upgrading of Old Salwa RPS with Underground Reservoirs

Demolition of 5 reservoirs and a pumping station in Old Salwa Reservoir Pumping Station and replacement with a new pumping station (115,776 m³/day), underground reservoirs (30 MIG), and an office building to accommodate KAHRAMAA staff along with providing an office space for commercial investment.

Potable Water Pipelines

• Rising Mains 1 and 2: 295 m, 600 mm dia. DI pipeline
• Distillate Inlet: 561 m, 900 mm dia. DI pipeline
• Header Pipes: 78 m, 1200 mm dia. DI pipeline

Water Outlet Capacity

• Two Rising Mains: RM1 and RM2
• Two Duty Mains: 335 l/s pumps per rising main
• Total Flow Rate: 1,340 l/s
