Water Transmission from NEOM Industrial City to Gayal

Project Description

The project aims at providing the necessary temporary enabling works required to transfer potable water from NIC Desalination Plant to Gayal coastal region near Tabuk through the construction of a water transmission system with a length of 100 km. This entails connecting the new potable water pipeline to the existing Saline Water Conversion Corporation’s (SWCC) pipeline with a diameter of 1,200 mm, several reservoirs, and connection provisions along the route.

The main project comprises a pumping station (1,068 million liters per day), potable water conveyance system (twin pipes with a diameter of 2,000 mm) within pipe culvert system, and two tap-off points.
