Syrdaria Water Supply Project

Project Description

The project’s main objective was to improve the availability, quality and sustainability of public water supply to Syrdaria region in Uzbekistan.
The project’s main components include:
Distribution network: pipes with diameter range of -50 250 mm (31 settlements).
Ground reservoir: 2,500 m3 main source of supply (12 wells, pump station with capacity of 160 m3 /hr, 60 m).
Towers: 31 towers with volume range of 250-25 m3 feeding different settlements.
Transmission pipeline: pipelines with diameter range of 600-250 mm, with length 78 km, using Micro Tunneling Technology including (pipe inside pipe system with capacity of 2000/600 mm and length of 50 m).
