• To study the project contract documents for cost, time and contractual issues and to become familiar with the project.
• Reviews the contractors’ invoices and certifies payments.
• Assesses the contractor claims.
• Prepares necessary correspondence in respect of financial issues after consultation with the Site PM/Construction Manager.
• Studies the financial impact of prospective change orders prior to their initiation.
• Reports to Site PM/Construction Manager on changes in Contract Price resulting from change orders and actual executed quantities.
• Review, monitor and advise the Site PM/Construction Manager on all requests for additional payment including measurement, variations and claims submitted by the contractor.
• Assist Site PM/Construction Manager in preparing the monthly progress report.
