We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Road Design Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team. The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of urban and highway projects, coordinate multidisciplinary design activities, and ensure compliance with international standards and client requirements. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience working on major infrastructure projects across the GCC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and development of road and highway infrastructure projects.
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including drainage, utilities, traffic, landscape, and structures disciplines.
• Prepare and review geometric road designs, horizontal and vertical alignments, grading plans, and intersection layouts.
• Develop road profiles, cross-sections, corridor models, and earthwork calculations.
• Perform pavement design and rehabilitation assessments in accordance with project requirements and international standards.
• Review and approve design calculations, technical reports, and engineering deliverables.
• Prepare and review Basis of Design Reports (BODR), Design Reports, Specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Conduct design quality checks and ensure compliance with project standards and procedures.
• Participate in technical meetings.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Coordinate BIM implementation and ensure consistency between design disciplines.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Master’s Degree in Transportation Engineering or Highway Engineering is an advantage.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in road and highway design.
• Demonstrated experience in major infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, or other GCC countries.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Saudi Aramco standards
  • MOT Saudi Arabia standards
  • QHDM (Qatar Highway Design Manual)
  • DMT and ITC standards (Abu Dhabi)
  • AASHTO standards
  • Road safety and accessibility requirements
• Proficiency in:
  • AutoCAD
  • Civil 3D
  • BIM workflows and coordination tools
  • AutoTURN
  • Autodesk Vehicle Tracking
• Knowledge of additional software:
  • Navisworks
  • InfraWorks
  • Dynamo
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
