Education and Professional Qualifications:
- B.Sc. Degree in an Interior design discipline, with a minimum grade of “Good”.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in all phases of interior design.
Specific Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit.
- Strong knowledge of materials, details, and construction documentation.
- Experience in Large Scale & Mega Projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
Job Description:
- Comprehensive knowledge of interior design standards and codes.
- Lead preparation of technical drawings from schematic stage through tender documentation and IFC.
- Organize, supervise, and support junior team members, providing guidance and advice as needed.
- Act as team leader in their absence and coordinate with other disciplines within the project scope.
- Undertake special and/or project assignments as requested by the Principal Interior Design Engineer.
- Assist and prepare to take on Principal responsibilities by attending coordination meetings with team leaders/principals.
- Knowledge of local authorities’ regulations, governmental codes, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and professionalism when working with colleagues at all levels.
- Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Ability to learn, retain, and apply laws and regulatory codes relevant to assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand technical information and documentation.
