Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and member of professional body/bodies in Egypt and/or elsewhere.
• Experience in high-rise buildings and coordination on large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders
• A minimum of 10 years progressive experience in structural engineering, design and construction contracts, with some supervisory experience.  Master degree in Civil (is preferable).

Job Description:

• Reports to Project Manager for implementing specific structural works in accordance with the work program of the project.
• Organizes and manages the work of engineers and draftsmen allocated to him and provides structural engineering support and/or advice to project teams as required by the Project Manager.
• Verifies that all structural analysis, designs, drawings and documents are to current codes and standards and in accordance with ECG policies and standards.
• Liaises as directed with consulting engineers, architects and other disciplines or contractors on all matters necessary for the implementation of the work program of the project.
• Undertakes special and/or project assignments as required by the Structural Department Manager.
• Keeps Department Manager aware about all technical and administrative matters concerning running projects.
• Responsible for the coordination between all disciplines.
