ECG and AUC: Turning Expertise into Effective Communication

Engineering expertise is most powerful when it can be understood, communicated, and translated into action.

At ECG, continuous development is an essential part of how we support our people. Alongside technical expertise, we recognize the importance of developing the communication and presentation skills that enable professionals to make a stronger impact.

As part of this commitment, a group of ECG employees participated in the Executive Presentation & Professional Communication Skills program delivered by The American University in Cairo (AUC).

Developing the Skills Behind Effective Communication

The 15-hour program focused on practical skills for presenting ideas, engaging with clients and colleagues, and leading business discussions. Participants worked on executive presence, vocal clarity, presentation structure, handling challenging questions, and facilitating productive meetings.

Through practical exercises, role plays, meeting simulations, and structured feedback, employees were able to apply these skills in realistic professional situations while identifying opportunities for further development.

Empowering People for Greater Impact

At ECG, professional development is about more than acquiring new skills. It is about equipping our people to communicate their expertise with clarity, engage with confidence, and contribute more effectively to the conversations that shape projects and decisions.

Because expertise creates greater opportunities when it is communicated with clarity and confidence.
