Buraidah Water Network

Water Supply Network:

Location: Buraidah, current population 1.26 million.

Objective: Develop and upgrade water networks for 2054 demands.

Scope:

• 289 km transmission mains 400 to 1,200 mm dia.
• 574 km distribution mains 150 to 300 mm dia.
• Two pumping stations: King Fisal 2,000 m³/day and Al Hadya 43,500 m³/day.
• Four Water Treatment Plants: Al Muataa 160,000 m³/day, Al Shamal 100,000 m³/day, Al Shaqa 100,000 m³/day and Al Tawasouaat 80,000 m³/day.

Hydraulics / Review / Master Planning:

• Review and verification of project data.
• Comparison of ground levels / water network the hydraulic analysis.
• Review of population distribution at consumption points in the hydraulic analysis.
• Verify hydraulic analysis and check consumption rates.
• Phase 1: to 2019.
• Phase 2: 2019 to 2034.
• Phase 3: 2034 to 2054.
• Identification of differences in the input data of the study elements.
• Amendments to the project data: reports, drawings and hydraulic analysis.
