Benina Masterplan Development

The project encompasses the redevelopment and planning of Benina city, located east of Benghazi, spanning a total area of 810 hectares. The plan emphasizes preserving the historic city center and certain southern areas while removing approximately 6% of the region occupied by informal structures. The proposed design includes zoning and classifying service centers and residential areas, upgrading the existing road network, designing the city’s entrances, and improving the administrative, commercial, and recreational city center. This aims to elevate service quality, introduce new services as needed, and revitalize the historic city center. Additionally, it includes landscaping for roads, squares, and parks across the area.
