Alexandria Regional Metro Project (Abu Qir to Misr Station)

The project aims to establish a metro network in Alexandria with a length of approximately 22 km from Abu Qir to Misr Station. The project consists of 2 subsections:

• Subsection 1: approximately 15.2 km of elevated track from Abu Qir station till before Kafr Abdo station including 14 stations (Abu Qir, Toson, Al-Maamoura, Al-Eslah, Al-Montazah, Al-Mandara, Al-Asafra, Miami, Sidi Bishr, Mohamed Naguib, Victoria, Ghebrial, Al-Souq, and Al-Zahria).
• Subsection 2: approximately 6.5 km of at-grade track from Kafr Abdo station to Misr station including 6 stations (Kafr Abdou, Sidi Gaber, Sporting, Al-Hadra, Bab Sharq, and Misr Station).
