The Role of Military Production in Supporting the National Economy

ECG was invited by Canada Egypt Business Council to attend a seminar with Minister of State for Military Production Gen. Mohamed El-Assar to discuss the “Role of Military Production in Supporting the Egyptian Economy.”

ECG’s top management participated in the seminar alongside Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry, Minster of Transport Hisham Arafat, Minister of Supply & Internal Trade Ali al-Moselhy, Minister of Agriculture & Land Reclamation Ezz El-Din Abu Steit, Ambassador Moushira Khattab, and Former Governor of Qalubiya Adly Hussein, as well as ambassadors of several countries in Egypt.

The Ministry of Military Production has played an important role in supporting the Egyptian economy with respect to confronting the multiple crises weighing on our country over the past years, through its effective contribution to national projects and its prominent role in industrial production, in order to meet the needs of the citizens. Recently, the Ministry adopted an ambitious plan to improve performance rates, as well as raising the efficiency of its subsidiaries to maximize capitalization upon its expertise in terms of developing and bolstering national industry, thereby contributing to reinforcing economic development plans and raising growth rates.
