1600 Staff Accommodation Units for ENEC

The project comprises 1600 staff accommodation units (SAUs) and associated support facilities for the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC). On land area of 113,430 m2, these SAUs provides accommodation and amenities at the remote Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) site to house the staff required to maintain plant operations.

The SAU’s are sized for single occupancy, with each unit designed as a separate apartment (studio) dwelling approximately 35 m2. Each unit consists of a bedroom and bathroom. The units are proposed in multiple blocks of (Max. G+5).

The total project built-up area is 90,088 m2, divided onto 78,452 m2 residential area and 11,637 m2 for amenities (Mosque, Majlis, gym, commercial center and Mess hall).
