Funded by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the Islamic Development Bank, Saudi Arabia, the Tannery Wastewater Treatment Plant entertained a total production capacity of 11,000 cu m/day suitable for industrial purposes. ECG designs secured compliance with Syrian environmental laws and adopted a recycling strategy for the recovery and reuse of chrome in the industrial tanning process. Engaged the preparation of topographic, geotechnical, and soil mechanical studies; detailed designs; and tender documents; ECG also undertook tender evaluation and construction supervision responsibilities.
