Named after Imam Al Hussain and about 7 km from the holy shrine, Jannat Al Hussain is a residential city being built on a land area of 1.3 million m2 to accommodate 25,000 residents with direct access to the center of the old town of Karbalaa. The project aims to establish a residential community with the state-of-the-art technology using modern architectural and construction services while preserving the heritage of Karbalaa.

Project objectives and efforts are compatible with the prospects of Karbalaa's role; leading genuine developments in construction, economy and cultural maturity. Jannat Al Hussain has 32 types of housing formations encompassing 5166 residential units with different sizes to meet individual needs and demand. The city will also include a shopping mall to spend quality time in restaurants and cafes and retail shopping. Also, small shops are scattered around Jannat Al Hussein City so that residents could buy daily essentials in shorter visits. The city will also stand out for its advanced security & safety systems and policies to provide residents with a safe living environment and ultimate entertainment experience.

Jannat Al Hussain is designed according to international standards of green cities. The city design integrate commercial and infrastructure services for water, sewerage & irrigation network, electricity networks, gas networks as well as roads network including streets, gardens, car parking, children playgrounds, indoor & outdoor swimming pools, sports complex in addition to the community center. A reliable fiber optic cable network shall be used to provide telephone landline, internet and CCTV systems into a single connection; a modern technology widely used.
