Named after Imam Al Hussain and about 7 km from the holy shrine, Jannat Al Hussain is a residential city being built on a land area of 1.3 million m2 to accommodate 25,000 residents with direct access to the center of the old town of Karbalaa. Jannat Al Hussain is designed according to international standards of green cities. The city design integrate commercial and infrastructure services for water, sewerage & irrigation network, electricity networks, gas networks as well as roads network including streets, gardens, car parking, children playgrounds, indoor & outdoor swimming pools, sports complex in addition to the community center. A reliable fiber optic cable network shall be used to provide telephone landline, internet and CCTV systems into a single connection; a modern technology widely used.
