In response to the rapid increase in tourism in Egypt, and as a part of developing and modernizing Hurghada Airport on the Red Sea coast, study of the implementation of an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is being conducted by ECG for the development of the Airport to improve its services.
Airport is capable of receiving 4.5 million passengers per year, but traffic already exceeds that figure.
