The project comprises the construction of two new pharmaceutical plants for HoldiPharma on a land area of 140,000 m2, CID pharmaceutical plant (75,000 m2) and Kahira Pharmaceutical plant (65,000 m2).

Kahira pharmaceutical plant comprises 2 floor sterile plant, 2 floor solid plant, 2 floor liquid plant and 2 floor Cephalosporin plant, warehouses, central utilities area, administration building for 650 employees, engineering workshops, quality control labs, Research and Development (R&D) centre, car parking, car repair and maintenance area, animal house and distribution and packing area for export.

CID is a multipurpose traditional pharmaceutical production and packaging plant comprising 2 floor sterile plant, 2 floor non-sterile solid dosage forms plant , 2 floor Hormone plant, 2 floor liquid plant, warehouses, central utilities area, administration building for 850 employees, engineering and workshops, quality control labs, Research and Development (R&D) centre, animal testing & research lab and distribution & packing area for export.

The integrated Pharmaceutical plants' design took into consideration upgrade and future expansion to accommodate manufacturing all types of pharmaceutical dosage forms according to the latest cGMP stated by FDA and European standards for pharmaceutical manufacturing. The design is considered high quality of value engineering, the requirements of power savings and resource conservation.

ECG scope includes underground water tanks, wastewater treatment plants, roads, service buildings, fences, landscape, administration buildings, laboratories, warehouses and other facilities.
