Dar AlDoha for Orphans, New Cairo, Egypt
Kemet Company, Egypt, awarded ECG the engineering consultancy services for Dar AlDoha for Orphans, Fifth Settlement, New Cairo, Egypt.
The development involves the design and construction of a five-storey orphanage housing a basement, a ground floor, and three above-ground floors. Built on 40% of a 1,040-sq m plot area allocated for the initiative, the building delivers full accommodation facilities to 37 boys (subject to increase). Other project components include a nursery, a computer laboratory, a restaurant, multi-purpose halls, sitting lounges, administration offices, and support services.
ECG scope of work includes preparation of concept and detailed designs, development of tender documents, and tender action.
