The Midfield Terminal Complex is part of the Abu Dhabi International Airport expansion effort to raise passenger traffic from 7 million to above 40 million per year and cargo capacity to 2.5 million t/yr. Contracted to finalize the project landside design development phase, ECG delivered geotechnical services; structural designs for flyovers, overpasses, underpasses, retaining structures, and drainage systems/foundations' secondary elements; designs for signage, street lighting, pavements, and drainage; geometrical designs for roads and remote parking; and prepared construction and tender documents.
